Hawkesbury Parish Council Annual Assembly 25th April - All Welcome

Hawkesbury Parish Council Annual Assembly will take place on Monday 25th April at Bethesda Chapel on Park Street, commencing at 7.30 pm.

This is a great opportunity for the local community to attend and get an update on Parish Council activities including tackling speeding in the village and response to the Climate Emergency - both featured in the 'Your Opinion matters' drop-in held last November.

Also covered will be the Council's Annual Financial Report plus a Statement from the Chairman - Chris Harding.

We are also privileged to have a Guest Speaker - Sally Pattison South Gloucestershire Council who will give a talk on the Local Nature Action Plan (LNAP), Dormouse superhighway in Hawkesbury and an update on Ash Die Back and tree planting initiatives.

Neighbourhood Constable PC Kenneth Hill will also be joining us to give an update on local policing issues.

The meeting will conclude with an open forum for public participation.
