Road Closures Affecting Hawkesbury Parish

Notice is hereby given that the South Gloucestershire Council in pursuance of the provisions contained within the above Act will for a period of up to 21 Days commencing on 28th March 2023prohibit *ANY Vehicle, Pedestrian, Cyclist and Equestrian

from proceeding along:

Highfield Lane, Hawkesbury from its junction with Sandpits Lane for approximately 500m South.

Chase Hill, Hawkesbury from its junction with Cotswold Way to its junction with Cold Change Lane.

Hawkesbury Hill, Hawkesbury from its junction with Cotswold Way to its junction with The Sands.

The above restriction is necessary because Tree Cutting Works are being executed on or near the carriageway consequent upon which is the need to avoid danger to road users, and the operatives engaged upon the works and serious damage to the road.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTE

The alternative routes for vehicles are:

1. Sandpits Lane, France Lane, A46, Hall Lane and Vice Versa

2. Cotswold Way, Hawkesbury Hill, Church Lane, Orange End and Vice Versa

3. Cotswold Way, Chase Hill, Orange End, Church Lane and Vice Versa
