Stand for Election to be a Parish Councillor on Thursday 4th May 2023

Stand for Election to be a Parish Councillor on Thursday 4th May 2023

Make a change by becoming a parish councillor!
Seeing your community change for the better as a result of decisions you have helped make, can give you a real sense of achievement and pride.
As a councillor, you can become a voice for the community and create real change. It helps if you're a "people person" who enjoys talking to other residents, but more importantly, you need to have the concerns and best interests of the parish as a whole at heart. Councillors are community leaders and should represent the aspirations of the public that they serve.
Parish Councils are non-political, the most local part of our democratic system and are closest to the public. Why don't you join Hawkesbury Parish Council and see what a difference you can make to our community?

Deadline to apply 4th April

Enthusiasm and commitment are more important than experience!
For further information please contact the Parish Clerk clerk@hawkesbury-pc.gov.uk or call 01454 238074 if you would like to find out how to stand for election, discuss the role of parish councillor or would like to talk to a councillor about their work.
