Planned resurfacing works along the A46 have been canceled. This road was scheduled to be surface dressed and his treatment relies heavily on good moderate weather conditions (warm and dry).
The past week has seen it both be too hot and now too wet for this work to be carried out and it has been decided to delay this scheme for another date in the future.

The Parish Council has received numerous complaints regarding these works and contrary to some opinions the Council was not notified in advance of these works commencing.
