Planning
Parish Council Planning meetings are held when required and notices of the meetings are placed in advance on the Parish Council noticeboards at Hawkesbury Upton and Little Badminton and on the Parish Council website.
As a Statutory consultee, the Parish Council's responsibility is to review and comment on planning applications submitted to South Gloucestershire Council, where the proposed development may affect Hawkesbury parish.
In reviewing such applications, the Parish Council's purpose is to ensure that local knowledge of facts and the opinions of local people, especially neighbours of the proposed development, are conveyed to the planning authority.
The Parish Council may also comment on matters of local concern including infrastructure.
